Jeanne Web Mistress
In 2015 Jeanne's dream of riding became a reality when she purchased her first motorcycle at age 47-a 2012 Honda Rebel. Within months she outgrew her trusty pony and bought her first Harley a Street 750. After many adventures in the saddle with her Street she bought a Yamaha Roadstar and in her words "When I saw her it was like lights shone from above and I knew she was THE ONE."

Something just came over me at age 39... I needed to ride my own motorcycle. So, I have been riding almost 12 years now! I have a sweet Vulcan 900 and love being the cool teacher who rides up on a bike.
The Daughters of Odin Story
I met Beck at a wine Meetup and thought it would be really great to have an all woman riding group. We researched and found Women in the Wind International, a woman founded and run organization for women riders. After reading up on their beliefs, we knew we wanted to be a part of them! I knew Katie and Erin rode as well so we had the seedlings for our group! Being a huge nerdy teacher, I adore mythology, especially Norse mythology. We proposed a few ideas and unanimously voted for Daughters of Odin. Odin is the head god and also the god of travel. When he appears to travelers, he is seen upon an eight legged steed. 8 legs, 4 women with 2 legs.... do the math:)
Since our formation, we have bloomed into 14 women riders from all walks of life. Each one of us unique and talented brings something special to our group. I love each and every one of these chicks!
Katie: Founder and Safety
A 51 yr old mom of two and cosmotologist. My passion for bikes started forever ago! I waited impatiently to watch Evel Knievel jump something, anything! I simply craved it. Ya know the person who has to stop when a bike goes by, well thats me! I got my license and first bike 10 yrs. ago. Shes a pretty purple Ninja 500 named Lily. Last year a bought my first big girl bike. His name is Bruce. Hes a Victory Octane 1200. A couple of years ago I met Michelle. We got to talking and next thing I know is BAM founding members to a group of lady bikers! Truly a beautiful thing. With every turn of the key, a new and exciting adventure begins. Our journeys are just beginning! Ride safe and ride um till the wheels fall off ladies!

· How did you find WITW?
I met Michelle (Chapter Leader) at a wine meet-up in early 2016, and upon finding we both rode, we decided to create a Chapter of WITW International. Michelle found two others to join us, and the rest is history
· What is your dream ride?
I'd love to ride from Japan, following one of the old Silk Routes in China, into (and through) all the 'Stan countries, and end up somewhere in the Middle East. One day!

Kathy turned 50 and decided that it was time to add some excitement into her life. Kathy, her husband and their adult children took the MSF class and promptly purchased motorcycles. She rides year round, every chance she gets. Short excursions, commuting to work, weekends with friends, and multi-week, multi-state trips are how she spends her time. Kathy is honored to have joined the lovely ladies of WITW and is having a blast with her new sisters, the Daughters of Odin.

Gosia is a self-proclaimed creative soul in this big corporate world. Constructing, creating and experiencing new adventures brings her joy outside of her very demanding yet quite rewarding day job in clinical research. Her personal growth goal is to learn something new each year. A few years ago she gave an enduro bike a try. She admits to a few unintentional wheelies while getting the handle of the clutch and an ultra slow motion wipeout on a muddy patch in the woods caught on video. In 2017, she upgraded to a Harley Street Model and never looked back. She's proud to be Odin chapter sister. She's very happy to have gotten to know all these awesome ladies and looks forward to the adventures ahead.

CJ: Event Planner
CJ was once upon a time happy to be a passenger until the fateful day when she met the love of her life...a 105th Anniversary Heritage Softail in 2016. After taking the basic riding course and putting over 2,000 miles she found herself on social media sites and came across the WITW. After an email and meeting the ladies CJ joined the Daughters. "Never have I been with so many women where there is an undeniable bond, respect and friendship". We are lucky to have you CJ!
