On October 30th 2017 we all went on our 1st Annual Halloween Ride and headed to Pumpkintown U.S.A located in East Hampton CT. We all went in costume, flying down on our steel horses with our capes flapping in the wind and masked up once we arrived to the town. Hailed as one of the premier non-scary Halloween events in CT it was easy for all of us to fall into the spirit of the event as soon as we arrived.
The weather also was spectacular, a balmy near 70 degrees with bright sun and cloudless skies paired with the festive atmosphere brought the whimsy in all of us and so we began to just have fun!
The ladies also took part in the festive foods of fresh farm produce, apple fritters which were simply out of this world and even candy corn gummies. We also took part of the Sling -A-Ding, visited the displays and added our own flavor to Pumpkintown's residents.
It was truly a fantastic day of fun, food and friends with a healthy helping of riding an estimated 85 miles roundtrip.
Here is to Pumpkintown U.S.A. and we will see you in 2017!
