The Daughters gathered together recently to partake in the annual maintenance and club meeting in Feb. 2018
to learn more on preparing our steel steeds for the upcoming riding season. Some of the ladies rode their bikes to Branford CT on a balmy 40 degree day and heading the pack for this learning experience was Jessica's husband who has years of experience in bikes and their care.
The ladies were quickly introduced to tasks such as checking for cable fraying, locating sight glass for oil, tire pressure, spoke care, chain maintenance and much more. Although this has been done now for the second year, the ladies always come away with some great tips and tricks in taking care of their steeds.
We also had several newer riders who had never experienced such a detailed class, and we can't thank Jessica and her hubby for such a great and informative class!
